Description
As the Head of Schools English (South Asia) in the English department, based in Delhi or other metros, you will report to the Regional Director - English. Your primary role is to lead the sales function, enhance capabilities across all levels, and cultivate a culture of cross-selling within the Schools English vertical in South Asia. You will be responsible for managing the overall sales objectives, goals, and revenue generation of the vertical. Your key accountabilities include overseeing the top-line, bottom-line, revenue generation, and cost of sales for the Schools English vertical in South Asia. You will drive growth in Learning and Assessment solutions for the Schools English segment, focusing on the K12 segment in South Asia, including top private schools and key international schools. Your role involves establishing a strong presence, increasing engagement, and implementing sustainable funnel and account management practices. Furthermore, you will be involved in new product introductions, product rationalizations, pricing reviews, and forecasting planning. Conducting regular reviews with the sales team and distributors, providing on-the-job training, coaching, and ensuring up-to-date product knowledge are also part of your responsibilities. You will lead by example, champion diversity, and uphold organizational values in all actions and decisions. In addition, you will develop and execute a commercial growth strategy for online learning products in the Indian market, build relationships with key stakeholders, drive customer engagement through digital channels, and prepare annual sales budgets. Monitoring and analyzing sales trends, benchmarking competition, and understanding market dynamics to adjust strategies are crucial aspects of this role. Your role also involves formulating operational strategies, communicating effectively with the sales team, identifying new opportunities, supporting efficient planning, and monitoring performance indicators. Collaborating with finance and operations for order execution and collections, ensuring training and development for the sales team, and working closely with various departments for seamless operations are essential components of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should possess a master's degree in sales or business management, along with 12-15 years of experience in K12 systems in South Asia. Sales management experience in the K12 segment and a proven track record of business growth are highly desirable. Demonstrating leadership skills, influencing stakeholders, strategic thinking, and excellent communication abilities are key attributes needed for success in this position.
