The Ops Support Specialist 5 position is a mid-entry-level role focused on providing operations support services. Responsibilities include record/documentation maintenance, account maintenance, imaging, and account opening in coordination with the Core Team. The specialist acts as a liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians, and clients, ensuring day-to-day operations support aligned with Citi's infrastructure and processes. You will be responsible for resolving customer inquiries, managing escalated issues, and delivering efficient customer service. Identifying opportunities for value-added products and services while complying with laws and regulations is crucial. Communication with management on productivity, quality, and MIS indicators, along with providing training and assistance within the department, will be part of your role. Supporting a wide range of products and services, participating in Lean and process improvement projects, and resolving complex problems are key responsibilities. You must assess risk in business decisions, prioritize the firm's reputation, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Qualifications for this role include 2-4 years of relevant experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, in-depth knowledge of the Dispute process, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work independently. Working occasional weekends and familiarity with Pega, G36 functionality, CoB testing, and Trust Receipts are required. Strong analytical and mathematical skills, along with clear written and verbal communication abilities, are essential. The shift for operations is US Day/India Night with a rotating schedule and weekend work. A bachelor's degree is mandatory for this position.
