Job Title: MySQL DBA

Experience Required:

68 years of hands-on production experience as a
MySQL DBA
.

Core Skills & Technical Expertise:

Databases:
Strong experience with
MySQL 8.x

Percona Server
, or
MariaDB
and associated ecosystem tools.
Backup & Recovery:
Proven background with
backup/restore
,
PITR
,
replication
,
clustering
, and
high-availability architectures
.
Performance & Optimization:
Deep knowledge of
InnoDB internals
,
indexing
,
query optimization
, and
performance tuning
.
Tools & Automation:

Practical experience with
native MySQL backup
,
Percona XtraBackup
,
mysqldump
, and
MySQL shell toolkit
.
Knowledge of
automation tools
such as
Ansible
or
Puppet
.
Experience with
Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform
(1–2 years preferred).

Monitoring & Observability:
Experience with
Prometheus/Grafana

, or similar tools.
Infrastructure & OS:

Solid understanding of
