Location: Glendale International School, Tellapur, Hyderabad
Programme: International Baccalaureate (IB) – Middle Years Programme (Grades 6–8)

Role Overview

The MYP Coordinator will be responsible for leading, implementing, and overseeing the IB Middle Years Programme (Grades 6–8). The role requires close collaboration with school leadership, teachers, students, and parents to ensure effective curriculum delivery in line with IB standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the IB MYP curriculum across Grades 6–8.
• Ensure compliance with IB standards and practices, including curriculum documentation, assessment, and reporting.
• Guide and mentor teachers in the effective use of IB pedagogical strategies.
• Organize and facilitate professional development workshops for MYP staff.
• Coordinate with the IB organization for authorizations, evaluations, and ongoing programme requirements.
• Oversee unit planning, assessment design, and student portfolios.
• Foster international-mindedness and promote the IB Learner Profile within the school community.
• Communicate regularly with parents and stakeholders regarding MYP goals, expectations, and student progress.
• Collaborate with the PYP and DP coordinators to ensure programme continuity and vertical alignment.
• Monitor and report on student achievement, engagement, and wellbeing.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in IB schools.
• Prior experience as an MYP teacher; coordination/leadership experience is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IB MYP curriculum, assessment practices, and philosophy.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to mentor, inspire, and support teachers in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
