Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize MySQL databases for high performance and scalability.
Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database triggers.
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate database solutions into application logic.
Perform routine database maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning.
Ensure database security, backup, and recovery procedures are well-documented and tested.
Monitor and troubleshoot slow queries, locking issues, and data inconsistencies.
Participate in database design and code reviews to ensure adherence to standards.

Mandatory Technical Skills- Job Seniority 4 6 years
Strong proficiency in MySQL (v5.7/8.0) and database design concepts.
Expertise in writing optimized SQL queries and understanding query execution plans.
Experience with stored procedures, functions, triggers, indexes, and data modeling.
Familiarity with MySQL performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Proficient in data migration, ETL processes, and database version control.
Familiarity with cloud-based MySQL deployments (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure Database for MySQL).- Good to have
Good to Have Skills
Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) is a plus.
Knowledge of tools like MySQL Workbench, Percona Toolkit, or phpMyAdmin.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices related to database management.
Ability to work with ORMs and application frameworks (e.g., Django, Laravel, Hibernate).
