Position Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Music Teacher (Women Only) with at least 3 years of teaching experience. The candidate should preferably have a background in Indian Classical Music (vocal and/or instrumental) and a passion for training young learners. Proficiency in dance and art & craft will be considered an added asset. We welcome individuals who can actively participate in the cultural and co-curricular life of the school beyond the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach music (vocal and/or instrumental) with a focus on Indian Classical, along with light/folk/contemporary as required.
• Train and guide students for school choir, assemblies, cultural programs, and competitions.
• Organize and coordinate annual day performances, cultural festivals, and inter-school events.
• Collaborate with the Art, Dance, and CCA departments to promote a vibrant cultural environment.
• Actively participate in the overall cultural enrichment of the school, encouraging student participation and creativity.
• Integrate music into daily school life, creating an atmosphere of joy, rhythm, and discipline.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Master’s degree/Diploma in Music or Performing Arts from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience (school/academy experience preferred).
• Strong foundation in Indian Classical Music (vocal or instrumental).
• Women candidates only.
• Additional skills in dance or art & craft will be an advantage.
• Good communication skills and a passion for working with children.
