Music Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will inspire students through dynamic and engaging music instruction, fostering a love for music and developing students technical and performance skills across a range of musical genres and instruments. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality music lessons to students of varying age groups and skill levels. Teach theoretical and practical aspects of music, including reading music, music history, and composition. Instruct students in vocal and/or instrumental music, depending on expertise. Organize and direct school or community music performances such as concerts, recitals, and musical productions. Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student creativity and expression. Maintain musical instruments and equipment in good condition. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and extracurricular school activities. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music into interdisciplinary learning projects. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Teaching certification/license (if required by the institution or local education authority). Proven experience as a music teacher or professional musician. Proficiency in one or more musical instruments and/or vocal performance. Strong knowledge of music theory, history, and performance techniques. Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills. Ability to engage and inspire students with varying musical abilities and interests. Preferred Skills: Experience with digital music tools and recording software. Ability to teach diverse music genres (classical, jazz, contemporary) Familiarity with inclusive teaching practices and differentiated instructions
