The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging music lessons that encompass theory, practical skills, and cultural appreciation. From designing age-appropriate lessons to organizing school concerts and mentoring students for competitions, the Music Teacher plays a crucial role in fostering creativity, collaboration, and discipline in the classroom. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement music lessons that cover theory, practical skills, and diverse genres. - Create customized lessons for students across different grade levels. - Teach both vocal and instrumental music, catering to individual skill levels. - Guide students to enhance their musical abilities. - Coordinate school concerts, recitals, and performances. - Mentor students for inter-school events. - Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. - Evaluate student progress through assessments and provide feedback. - Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects. - Participate in professional development sessions and school events. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Education or related field. - Previous teaching experience in a school environment. - Proficiency in vocal and instrumental music. - Ability to teach various musical styles and techniques. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Creativity and enthusiasm for teaching.
