Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Multi-Speciality Medical Coder. The position is based in Chennai. Review medical records and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes with appropriate modifiers across multiple specialties while ensuring compliance and proper reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

Code charts for specialties such as Internal Medicine, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, and others.
Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with CMS, AMA, NCCI, LCD/NCD guidelines.
Review documentation, raise necessary provider queries, and support denial resolution.
Meet daily productivity and quality targets.

Requirements:

Coding certification (CPC/CCS/CCS-P preferred).
1–4+ years of multi-specialty coding experience.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and US healthcare RCM.
Experience with EMR systems like eCW, DrChrono, and Veracity.
High accuracy, analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
