Job Description

As a Management Trainee in S2P Operations at Genpact, your role as a Single Point of Contact for procurement operations will be crucial. You will be responsible for fostering close collaboration with clients and internal support teams, ensuring efficient operations, devising winning strategies, overseeing day-to-day service delivery, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency continually. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as a key liaison for external and internal partners, facilitating seamless collaboration - Identify process defects, enhance Turnaround Time (TAT), and improve Service Level Agreements (SLAs) - Assess team efficiency, propose Lean/process improvement ideas, and handle complaints or issues - Manage HR metrics, prepare MIS reports in Excel or reporting tools - Support Global Procurement teams in various operational procurement activities - Provide operational support to Strategic Sourcing teams - Collect, prepare, and present analysis and reports on category-specific data to support strategic decision-making - Assist Category Teams in operational aspects of Strategy developments, such as Opportunity Assessment preparation - Utilize category and system knowledge to set up negotiation content (e.g., RFQ, e-auction) - Aid Category leaders in the contract Management cycle Qualifications: Minimum qualifications: - Any Graduate Preferred qualifications: - Prior experience in Operational Lead roles - Exposure to sourcing or procurement operations - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Effective presentation skills - Proficiency in team building and conflict management - Knowledge and experience in analysis & reporting (including exposure to macros and PowerPoint) - Solid understanding of SAP/SAP-SRM, MS Office (Excel and Word), and any workflow tool - Familiarity with other ERPs like ARIBA, ZYCUS is a plus Please note that this role is based in India-Bangalore and is a full-time position.
