MSP Telugu Facilitator

A Middle School Telugu Facilitator plays a crucial role in supporting students at the middle school level (grades 6-8) in learning the Telugu language encompassing reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension. As a Telugu Facilitator, you will serve as a language teacher and mentor, guiding students through age-appropriate curriculum while instilling an appreciation for Telugu language and culture. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing language instruction encompassing Telugu grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills. - Cultivating speaking and listening abilities through engaging activities such as conversations, storytelling, and discussions. - Planning and implementing a structured curriculum in alignment with school/state educational standards, integrating diverse learning materials like stories, poems, newspaper articles, and multimedia. - Conducting classroom activities that promote interactive learning through group work, debates, role-plays, and projects, along with organizing cultural events like Telugu Day, literary competitions, and drama. - Assessing student progress regularly and offering constructive feedback to enhance language proficiency. - Creating a conducive language environment by encouraging the use of Telugu both inside and outside the classroom, fostering cultural awareness and pride in the language's heritage. To excel in this role, you should possess: - Fluency in Telugu, both spoken and written. - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telugu, Language Education, or a related field. - Teaching certification or diploma as per institutional requirements. - Strong classroom management and communication skills. - Experience in employing differentiated instruction methods to support diverse learners. Your teaching approaches may involve storytelling and folklore, utilization of audio-visual aids like songs, films, and animations, real-world application through writing letters and reading signs, as well as integration of digital tools where available.
