As a Middle School Telugu Facilitator, your role involves supporting students in learning the Telugu language (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension) at the middle school level (grades 6-8). Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities: **Role Overview:** As a Telugu Facilitator, you will act as a language teacher and mentor, guiding students through age-appropriate curriculum while encouraging an appreciation for Telugu language and culture. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Language Instruction** - Teach Telugu grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing. - Foster speaking and listening skills through conversations, storytelling, and discussions. - **Curriculum Planning** - Design or follow a structured curriculum aligned with school/state educational standards. - Incorporate a variety of learning materials such as stories, poems, newspaper articles, and multimedia. - **Classroom Activities** - Use interactive and engaging methods like group work, debates, role-plays, and projects. - Organize cultural events such as Telugu Day, literary competitions, drama, etc. - **Assessment & Feedback** - Conduct regular assessments to track student progress. - Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their language skills. - **Language Environment** - Encourage the use of Telugu in and outside the classroom. - Promote cultural awareness and pride in the language's heritage. **Skills & Qualifications:** - Fluency in Telugu (spoken and written). - A Bachelors or Masters degree in Telugu, Language Education, or a related field. - Teaching certification or diploma (if required by the institution). - Strong classroom management and communication skills. - Experience with differentiated instruction to support diverse learners. **Teaching Approaches:** - Storytelling and folklore - Audio-visual aids (songs, films, animations) - Real-world application (writing letters, reading signs, etc.) - Integration of digital tools (if available) This position is full-time with a day shift schedule and requires in-person work.
