Information Systems Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and deploy MSBI solutions using SQL Server, Power BI, SSIS, and SSAS- Create and optimize stored procedures, DAX queries, and data models to drive business insights- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data visualizations and reports- Develop and maintain data warehouses, data marts, and ETL processes using SSIS and SSAS- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing data validation and error handling mechanisms- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders through effective communication skills. Additional Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:- B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MCA degree in Computer Science or related field- Minimum 3 years of experience in SQL Server and Power BI- Proven experience in developing stored procedures, DAX queries, SSIS, and SSAS- Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams Technical and Professional :
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Streamsets, and Kafka is a plus- Proficiency in Python programming language with a minimum of 1 year of experience- Knowledge of Generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and basic prompting techniques is desirable- Experience with data engineering, data science, or business intelligence is an asset- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes- Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines Preferred
