Job Description

Role Overview: At NTT DATA, your career is about believing in yourself, seizing new opportunities, and expanding your skills and expertise. As a Security Managed Services Engineer (L1), you will be responsible for providing managed services to clients, ensuring the operational continuity of their Firewall infrastructure. Your primary objective will be to maintain zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions by offering first-line support for standard and low complexity incidents and service requests. Additionally, you may contribute to project work as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor client infrastructure and solutions - Identify problems and errors proactively - Investigate and identify root causes of incidents and problems - Provide telephonic or chat support to clients - Schedule maintenance activity windows for patching and configuration changes - Follow required handover procedures for shift changes - Report and escalate incidents when necessary - Ensure efficient and comprehensive resolutions of incidents and requests - Update knowledge articles and identify optimization opportunities - Contribute to project work and disaster recovery functions Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing - CCNA or relevant level 1 Network Security certification is advantageous - Entry-level experience in troubleshooting and providing support in security/network/data center/systems/storage administration - Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and ITIL processes - Ability to communicate effectively across different cultures and social groups - Strong planning and problem-solving skills - Positive outlook and ability to work well under pressure - Client-focused approach in all interactions (Note: There were no additional details about the company provided in the job description.),
