Description
The Configuration Management Engineer is responsible for end-to-end configuration change management, with the primary objective of ensuring network service data accuracy within the agreed-upon SLAs. You have: BE graduate with Configuration management experience of min 12 years. Network translations for complex Local and long-distance switching networks. The engineer should be fluent in the various voice signaling protocols, including ISDN, SS7 (ISUP, TCAP), and SIP (SIP, SDP, RTP). Troubleshoot basic translation issues using translation verification tests, test lines, and signaling applications. Prepare, implement, and verify the configuration and integration of a Node/system. It would be nice if you also had: Knowledge on various PRI requests like New install, Disconnect, PIC change, route change, port in-port out DID, signaling change. Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PPT. Preparation and maintenance of reports as per requirement. The ability to perform Line and Trunk side TDM and VoIP provisioning for both Class 4 and Class 5 voice networks. Code and Routing administration for at least 2 of the following platformsMeta CFS, PRI, SBC. Rate Center additions, LATA additions, Class 4&5 Network Interconnections, Billing and Mediation Ability to work with customer provisioning and sales teams to personalize technical solutions that leverage our existing network assets. Provide next-level support to customer provisioning, customer repair, Network Operations, and other Engineering teams. Support and execution of tasks for Rate Center additions, LATA additions, Class 4&5 Network Interconnections, Billing, and Mediation Preparation of script and Impact analysis for changes that need to be done in core nodes
