Job Description

Role Overview: As a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, your primary focus will be providing managed services to ensure clients" IT infrastructure and systems remain operational. You will proactively identify, investigate, and resolve technical incidents and problems to support clients effectively. Your role will involve monitoring client infrastructure, investigating first-line incidents, and executing maintenance activities like patching and configuration changes. Additionally, you will identify optimization opportunities and support project work and disaster recovery functions, contributing to broader goals and ensuring high service quality standards are maintained. Key Responsibilities: - Provide managed services to ensure clients" IT infrastructure and systems remain operational - Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve technical incidents and problems - Monitor client infrastructure and solutions, catching errors before or as soon as they occur - Investigate first-line incidents, understand root causes, and follow approved procedures for request fulfillment - Execute maintenance activities like patching and configuration changes - Identify opportunities for optimization and process improvements - Support project work and disaster recovery functions and tests - Ensure incidents and requests are resolved efficiently and comprehensively, escalating when necessary - Update existing knowledge and share valuable insights to promote continuous learning and improvement Qualifications Required: - Basic understanding of technologies such as Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Virtual Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco Nexus switches, ASr and ISr routers, Cisco ACS, ISE, Meraki switches, and common routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and EIGrP - Highly disciplined in handling tickets on a day-to-day basis and acting promptly as per defined SOPs - Good understanding of using ITSM tools and processes - Strong planning skills and adaptability to changing environments - A client-focused approach with excellent communication skills and the ability to work across cultures and social groups - Strong work ethic, adaptability, active listening skills, and a positive outlook under pressure - Bachelor's degree in information technology/computing or equivalent experience [Note: The additional details of the company were not included in the provided job description.],
