Motion Graphic Designer

As a Motion Graphic Designer at Cocoma Digital Pvt. Ltd., located in Mumbai, Andheri West, you will play a pivotal role in transforming concepts into captivating animations for various platforms including YouTube, Instagram Reels, Shorts, and brand campaigns. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with editors, graphic designers, and content leads to bring visual stories to life, enhancing client channels with compelling motion graphics that capture attention and encourage engagement. Your key responsibilities will include conceptualizing, designing, and animating motion graphics for trailers, intros/outros, lower thirds, and social media snippets. You will also be tasked with creating platform-specific assets such as thumbnails, loops, and GIFs for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Reels, Threads, and X. It will be essential for you to translate briefs into engaging visual narratives that align with client objectives and brand guidelines, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure storytelling, pacing, and visual style are cohesive. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 3 years of hands-on motion graphics experience in an agency, studio, or content-heavy brand environment. Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and the full Adobe Creative Suite is required, with knowledge of Figma or Canva being an added advantage. A strong understanding of animation principles, kinetic typography, and visual design aesthetics is crucial, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, feedback-rich setting while managing multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality. Additionally, staying updated on animation trends, typography, transitions, and emerging tools is key, as you will be expected to share best practices with the team. Your adaptability to incorporate feedback swiftly and iterate until achieving creative excellence will be highly valued. Furthermore, familiarity with AI-based motion tools such as Runway, Lottie, or basic 3D/CGI would be a bonus in this role.
