Motion Designer

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Motion Designer at the Embedded Interaction Lab, Department of Design, IIT Guwahati. You will be working on an ongoing project called "Gyan Dhara: Integrating VR for Immersive Learning," which operates in hybrid or remote mode. Your primary responsibilities will include conceptualizing, designing, prototyping, and producing motion graphics and animations tailored for users aged 13-16 in an educational setting. Collaboration with multiple departments will be essential to develop engaging and innovative motion design projects. To excel in this role, you should possess proficiency in Motion Design, Motion Graphics, and Animation. Additionally, you must demonstrate skill in creating Storyboards, strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities, excellent communication, and collaboration skills. Working closely and collaboratively with UX Designers, 3D Artists, Unity Developers, and Teachers to deliver top-notch animation and motion experiences is a key aspect of this position. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree from reputable institutions such as IITs, NIDs, etc., in Graphic Design, Animation, Multimedia, or a related field.
