About The Role

Motadata is looking for a Product Engineer in our Product Management Group (PMG) - a unique role that blends product research and analysis with prototyping and design.You will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and building product features while also contributing to product strategy through research, analysis, and requirements.This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy solving problems end-to-end : from understanding customer needs to prototyping and delivering impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct product research and analysis to identify opportunities, validate ideas, and define clear product requirements.
• Design and build prototypes - including AI-powered solutions - to test concepts, demonstrate feasibility, and validate customer needs.
• Work with product managers, designers, engineers, and customer-facing teams to turn customer feedback into actionable product features.
• Contribute to PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for upcoming features.
• Explore AI/ML and emerging technologies; bring curiosity and experimentation into prototyping, even if you are learning new skills on the job.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth handover of validated prototypes into engineering and product roadmaps.
  

What Were Looking For

• Strong written and verbal communication skills - ability to explain ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong product mindset - capable of thinking from the customers perspective and linking solutions to business outcomes.
• Knowledge/awareness of REST APIs and basic cloud deployment patterns.
• Familiarity with Agile processes and tools (Jira, Confluence, Git).
• Prior experience as a Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, or Developer - we actively encourage such candidates to apply.
  

Bonus Points

• Hands-on coding experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go) - not mandatory, but helpful for prototyping.
• Exposure to AI/ML tools (OpenAI APIs, LangChain, Hugging Face) or a willingness to learn them on the job.
• Familiarity with modern web technologies, low-code platforms, or cloud-native services.
• Hands-on coding or AI/ML experience is a plus, not a must - you can learn here.
