MoRM Risk and Capital, Associate

Role Overview: You will be working as a MoRM Risk and Capital Associate in Mumbai, India. Your role will involve being a part of the Portfolio Models and Alpha validation team within Model Risk Management (MoRM). You will be responsible for validating portfolio models developed for Credit Risk, Business Risk, Operational Risk, and Risk Type Diversification. Key Responsibilities: - Independently validate business and infrastructure models, focusing on AFC models, and discuss validation results with stakeholders - Analyze mathematical methods, verify model adequacy and implementation, and act as the contact person for methodology aspects - Prepare impact studies and presentations for governance committees - Review and assess analyses and changes made by developers to address validation issues - Present validation results to external supervisors - Actively manage model risk by ensuring adherence to documentation standards Qualifications Required: - Academic degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Econometrics, or a similar discipline - Ability to explain mathematical concepts in layman's terms - 2-4 years of professional experience in Credit risk and Anti-Financial-Crime Risk model development or validation - Proficiency in programming languages (Python, SAS, R, SQL) and experience in Machine Learning - IT affinity with proficiency in MS Office - Experience in data analysis, evaluation, and understanding of IT processes - Good knowledge of Monte Carlos methods and modeling/validation of portfolio models - Experience in risk management is a plus - Business fluent written and verbal skills in English; German language skills are advantageous Additional Company Details: Deutsche Bank fosters a culture of empowerment, responsibility, commercial thinking, initiative, and collaboration.
