Qualification: Master’s degree in statistics, economics, social sciences, development studies, or a related field. Demonstrated experience working with Google sheets and statistical software like R or Stata.
Role Purpose
The MEL Associate will support the design, implementation, and operationalization of robust MEL systems across Mentor Together’s programs. They will focus on creating impact frameworks and surveys, data collection, analysis, and program reporting while contributing to evidence-based decision-making and continual program improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Frameworks [30%]
Assist in refining MEL frameworks across programs, including indicators and metrics aligned with program theory of change.
Design and maintain data collection tools, processes, and dashboards to monitor program progress.
Train the team on the usage and implementation of the data collection and evaluation processes
Outcome & Impact Measurement [50%]
Coordinate and support program teams in accurate data collection and data quality assurance.
Conduct timely quantitative and qualitative data analysis to support program insights and course corrections.
Create and maintain data dashboards for different stakeholders
Knowledge Dissemination & Reporting [20%]
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MEL reports.
Translate complex data into actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.
