We are looking for an experienced Senior MongoDB / NoSQL Database Engineer to join our team, supporting a leading Banking client (Metrobank). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MongoDB, NoSQL database management, and database automation in cloud environments. This role requires advanced skills in performance tuning, data modeling, and database design to ensure scalability, security, and high performance for business-critical applications.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and manage MongoDB and NoSQL database solutions.
Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and aggregation frameworks.
Architect and maintain data models for high availability and scalability.
Work with MongoDB Atlas and other cloud-based database solutions.
Implement and manage performance monitoring tools and tuning methodologies.
Automate database processes using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Collaborate with application developers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration.
Document and enforce database governance, standards, and best practices.
Strong hands-on proficiency with MongoDB and NoSQL databases.
Expertise in database design, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
Solid understanding of aggregation frameworks and data modeling.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and database automation in DevOps environments.
Background Verification: To be completed before onboarding (via any Nasscom-approved agency).
Certifications: Not mandatory but relevant MongoDB or cloud certifications are an advantage.
Business Travel: No travel required.
