Job Description

Molecular Biologist

Key Responsibilities

Design, execute, and troubleshoot molecular cloning strategies for gene expression constructs.
Perform protein expression, purification, and characterization using relevant techniques.
Maintain and optimize expression systems (bacterial, yeast, or mammalian).
Conduct standard molecular biology techniques such as PCR, qPCR, DNA/RNA isolation, gel electrophoresis, and sequencing analysis.
Document research findings, prepare technical reports.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support development and innovation goals.

Qualifications

• Desirable:

Skills & Competencies

Strong practical knowledge of molecular cloning, protein expression, and purification workflows.
Experience with microbial and/or eukaryotic expression systems.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to independently design and troubleshoot experiments.
Good communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
Familiarity with bioinformatics tools for sequence analysis (desirable).
