Qualifications:

2. Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tool design and development is essential. Experience in designing tools for electronic manufacturing is preferred, but not mandatory.

3. Proficiency in CAD software: Demonstrated expertise in using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and creating detailed engineering drawings is required.

4. Knowledge of manufacturing processes: A strong understanding of various manufacturing processes, including injection molding, stamping, machining, and assembly, is necessary. Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles is highly desirable.

5. Analytical and problem-solving skills: A Tool Design Engineer should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify, analyze, and resolve tool-related issues. Knowledge in statistical analysis and root-cause analysis techniques is beneficial.

6. Strong communication and teamwork: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external suppliers throughout the tool design and development process.
