As a Module Lead - NodeJS + AWS, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of cloud-native, scalable applications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the design and development of robust, scalable Node.js (TypeScript) applications and microservices hosted on AWS, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices and design patterns. - Owning end-to-end module delivery, including design, development, code quality, deployment, and post-production support. - Collaborating with architects to define scalable and cloud-native solutions using AWS services like EventBridge, Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, SQS, SNS, ElastiCache, and others. - Designing and implementing containerized solutions using Docker and AWS ECS/ECR for cloud-agnostic and portable deployments. - Defining and enforcing API standards, ensuring RESTful APIs are well-documented, scalable, and seamlessly integrated with AWS cloud services. - Leading code reviews and enforcing coding best practices to maintain high code quality, performance, and maintainability. - Mentoring and guiding a team of developers to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills. - Establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions to streamline and automate delivery processes. - Proactively identifying technical risks and proposing mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery. - Driving the implementation of monitoring, logging, and observability using AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and OpenTelemetry. Qualifications required: - 6+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or module lead role. - Strong command over Node.js (Express.js/Nest.js) and advanced TypeScript concepts. - Proven expertise in using AWS services for designing cloud-native solutions. - Hands-on experience with Docker and AWS ECS/ECR for microservices deployment. - Strong background in RESTful API design and API security best practices. - Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines. - Solid experience with relational databases and understanding of NoSQL solutions. - Strong Git expertise and experience with branching strategies. - Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and team leadership. - Strong communication and presentation skills.
