Modern Trade Specialist

Anker Innovations, a multinational consumer electronics company with multiple brands like Anker, Nebula, eufy, and Soundcore, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Modern Trade Specialist for India. This role, based in Bangalore, involves managing National and Regional MT Retailers by creating long-term relationships, developing existing channels, and seeking new sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, creating business plans, hitting targets, and generating leads through various communication channels. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities for all Anker brands, developing existing channels such as retailers, telcos, resellers, and B2B clients, creating business plans, meeting targets, generating leads, and maintaining face-to-face, virtual, or phone interactions with customers/clients/retailers. The candidate will also need to think strategically, conduct sales forecasts, work with distribution partners, plan promotional activities, liaise with internal departments, attend industry events, and drive sales hygiene metrics. Qualifications for this role include 3-5 years of experience in Business Development and Key Accounts Management in the Retail-consumer electronics industry, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, excellent communication skills, social team player attitude, proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, flexibility, creativity, and willingness to travel regularly. The job is based in Bangalore, India, with occasional travel required for industry events or company meetings. This is a full-time position with the possibility of a contractual/temporary arrangement. The candidate must be willing to relocate to Bengaluru, Karnataka, if required, with an employer-provided relocation package.
