Role Description

Magic Lume CG Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a full-time Modeling and Texturing Artist for an on-site role in Hyderabad. The artist will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models and textures for film, broadcast, and gaming projects. Daily tasks include modeling realistic and stylized characters, props, and environments, as well as developing textures that enhance the visual quality of assets. Collaboration with animators, rigging artists, and the wider production team is expected to ensure seamless asset integration and high production standards.

Qualifications

Proficiency in 3D modeling (high-poly and low-poly), sculpting, and topology optimization
Skills in texturing, shading, UV mapping, and material setup
Experience with industry-standard tools such as Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Photoshop, and Substance Painter
Strong understanding of design principles, proportions, and anatomy for creating both realistic and stylized assets
Knowledge of rendering and lighting basics as they relate to texturing
Problem-solving skills with attention to detail and artistic creativity
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in 3D design, animation, or related fields
Understanding of pipeline workflows and asset optimization for various platforms
Previous experience in the Film, Advertisement, Gaming, or Animation industry is an advantage
