Job Description

Team Leadership

Manage, mentor, and support 3D modeling teams in India and Vietnam , ensuring high performance, consistent quality, and team cohesion.
Review team outputs, provide constructive feedback, and maintain modeling standards and best practices.
Coordinate with project managers and cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and production goals.
Conduct training sessions and assist in onboarding new team members.

3D Modeling & Asset Creation

Create high-quality 3D furniture models (e.g., chairs, tables, cabinets, sofas) using Blender .
Optimize assets for real-time/game environments with clean topology and balanced polycounts.
UV unwrap and texture models to meet modern industry standards.
Apply Physically Based Rendering (PBR) materials, including:

Base Color, Roughness, Metallic, Normal, and Ambient Occlusion (AO) maps
.
Ensure models accurately replicate real-world references in form, scale, materials, and detail.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience

4+ years of professional experience in 3D modeling, including team or project leadership .
Proven track record managing or coordinating distributed/remote teams .
Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality 3D furniture models and PBR texturing workflows.
Experience with Substance Painter and baking texture maps is a plus.

Technical Skills

Proficient in Blender for 3D modeling and optimization.
Skilled in UV mapping , clean topology, and efficient asset production.
Solid understanding of real-time asset creation , including polycount management, LODs, and texture baking.
Deep knowledge of PBR workflows and modern game/real-time rendering pipelines.

Soft Skills

Strong communication and feedback skills across diverse cultures and time zones.
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines.
Proactive, supportive leader who leads by example and fosters team growth.
