Mobile Developer

Android (Kotlin), SQLite/SQLCipher, Retrofit, Firebase, REST APIs, MVVM Architecture, GitHub Actions CI/CD

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to design, develop and maintain mobile applications for AWWs
(Anganwadi Workers) and supervisors. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Android development using Kotlin, offline data synchronization, multilingual support and integration with backend services and third-party modules.

• Develop Android applications using Kotlin following MVVM architecture and best coding practices.


• Implement offline data synchronization with SQLite/SQLCipher to ensure smooth app functionality in low-connectivity areas.


• Integrate REST APIs, Firebase services and backend systems for real-time data access and updates.


• Develop and maintain modules such as Helpdesk, SOS and cohort management within the app.


• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure seamless user experience and consistent design.


• Implement multilingual support to cater to users with diverse language preferences.


• Ensure application performance, reliability and security across Android devices.


• Participate in code reviews, unit testing and CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.


• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to app performance, connectivity and integration.

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin and modern architecture patterns.


• Hands-on experience with Retrofit, Firebase, SQLite/SQLCipher for data management.


• Excellent problem-solving, debugging and analytical skills.


• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.


• Hindi-speaking ability will be considered an added advantage for coordination with field teams.
