Mobile Automation Tester

As a skilled Quality Analyst with experience in mobile UI automation testing, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of mobile applications built using React Native and Expo. Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining robust mobile UI automation test suites. You will collaborate closely with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and identify test scenarios. Additionally, you will execute manual and automated test cases across multiple devices and platforms (iOS, Android) and track bugs using tools like Jira. You will drive regression testing, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and focus on consistent app behavior with performance and usability in mind. Analyzing test results to improve test coverage and reliability will also be a key part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have experience in mobile application testing, including UI automation, and proficiency in automation frameworks like Appium. Familiarity with React Native and Expo apps, a strong understanding of JavaScript (and preferably TypeScript), and knowledge of Git, CI tools, and test reporting tools are essential. A solid grasp of mobile testing practices, UX, and responsive design validation is also required. Desirable skills include experience with performance and load testing on mobile, familiarity with tools like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs, exposure to TDD/BDD practices, and a basic understanding of REST APIs and backend testing.,
