Mobile Automation Test Engineer

Role Overview: You will be working as an Automation Test Engineer at Mallow Technologies, a custom software development company known for delivering high-quality mobile and web applications tailored to client needs. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium or any other relevant tool for mobile applications (Android/iOS). - Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios. - Execute automated regression suites as part of the CI/CD pipeline. - Perform functional, regression, and compatibility testing for mobile platforms. - Log, track, and retest defects in Jira (or equivalent). - Provide support for manual testing, focusing on exploratory and edge-case scenarios. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 2+ years of hands-on experience with Appium or a similar tool (Java/Python preferred). - Good understanding of mobile testing concepts such as UI, gestures, device compatibility, and network conditions. - Proficiency with TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and Git for version control. - Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. - Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira or Azure Boards. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in an Agile environment.
