Mobile Automation Test Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a seasoned QA Automation Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in Web UI automation using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber, and 2-3 years in mobile automation with Appium.

• The ideal candidate should have strong skills in REST API testing, experience with AWS Device Farm, and be proficient in tools like GitLab, Maven/Gradle, JIRA, and Xray.
• Experience with database testing, CI/CD tools, and a solid understanding of BDD and automation frameworks is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders are essential for this role.

Must Have Skills:

• 6 - 8 years of experience in Web UI Automation using Selenium, Java, Cucumber framework .
• 2 -3 years of experience with Mobile automation using Appium
• Experience in working with AWS Device farm
• Experience with Gherkin language using Cucumber

• Strong experience in automating Web Services testing with both REST APIs

• Experience working with GitLab or similar source code repository tool • Experience with Git version control system

• Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle
• Experience working with Databases using JDBC, Hibernate or Spring JDBC
• Strong experience in using JIRA, Confluence and Xray Nice to Have
• Experience testing Salesforce applications.

• Experience working with Chat bot automation

• Experience in creating Test Automation framework using Java, Selenium and BDD frameworks
• Experience working with Serenity BDD, TestNG.

• Good understanding of Shift-Left approach to Testing, Screenplay Pattern and Insprint Automation.

• Experience in working with Postman or Swagger.

• Experience working with CI Tools like Jenkins

• Experience working with API mocking frameworks.
• Knowledge of design patterns and software development best practices.

• Scope and estimate the test automation effort for user stories. Soft Skills

• Excellent communication, sense of urgency and ownership of tasks
• Ability to coordinate with important stakeholders to resolve issues
• Effective problem-solving expertise, troubleshooting, debugging and root cause analysis skills
