Indian Mithai & Dessert Chef

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Mithai & Dessert Chef to join our culinary team in Chattarpur, Delhi. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in preparing authentic sweets and desserts, along with the creativity to introduce new flavors and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present a wide variety of traditional Mithai (e.g., Gulab Jamun, Rasmalai, Kaju Katli, Barfi, Ladoo, Halwa, etc.) and innovative fusion desserts.
• Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and quality of all sweets and desserts.
• Ensure proper hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards in the kitchen.
• Manage ingredient inventory, portion control, and wastage reduction.
• Experiment with recipes to create new offerings in line with customer preferences and festive demands.
• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute special menus for events, weddings, and festivals.
• Supervise kitchen assistants and train junior staff when required.

Requirements:

• 4–5 years of proven experience as a Mithai / Dessert Chef in reputed restaurants, catering companies, or sweet shops.
• Strong knowledge of traditional sweets preparation techniques and modern dessert plating styles.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines during peak seasons/events.
• Good communication and team management skills.
• Strong commitment to quality, hygiene, and innovation.
