Job Title: MIS Expert – Swachhatam Portal & Data Management

Location: Jalandhar

Employment Type: Contractual (Project-Based)

Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

About Us:

Samvedna Development Society (SDS) is a non-profit organization working closely with government institutions to support the implementation of national flagship programs such as the Swachh Bharat Mission–Urban (SBM-U). SDS focuses on strengthening IEC, data management, monitoring, and documentation systems to improve urban sanitation outcomes and Swachh Survekshan performance.

Position Overview:

The MIS Expert – Swachhatam Portal will be responsible for accurate data collection, validation, management, and timely uploading of SBM-U, Solid Waste Management (SWM), sanitation, IEC, and capacity-building related information on the Swachhatam Portal and other relevant government dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update daily, weekly, and monthly MIS data on the Swachhatam Portal.
• Upload documentation related to SWM, sanitation, IEC, Capacity Building (CB), FSM, GFC, plastic ban, and C&D waste management.
• Coordinate with field staff to collect geo-tagged photographs, attendance sheets, reports, challans, and notices.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data across portals, registers, and field records.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and flag gaps or missing indicators to the Project Manager.
• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and compliance summaries for review meetings.
• Support Swachh Survekshan documentation, audit readiness, and ranking improvement efforts.
• Maintain digital and physical records for inspections, verifications, and audits.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Computer Applications, IT, Statistics, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in MIS, SBM-U portals, or government dashboards.
• Prior experience with the Swachhatam Portal, SBM-U, or ULB MIS systems will be preferred.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MIS tools, online portals, and basic data analytics.
• Good understanding of SBM-U indicators and documentation requirements.
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Effective coordination and communication skills.
