MIS Executive - HR

Role Overview

MIS Executive

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management and Reporting:

    • Collect, compile, and maintain accurate HR data, including global employee records, attendance, payroll, and performance metrics.
    • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for the HR team and senior management, providing clear insights into key trends.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards to track HR performance indicators (KPIs) such as attrition rates, recruitment funnel, trainings, performance reviews, monthly reviews, sales incentives, R&R, and employee engagement.
    • Ensure accurate and complete onboarding & offboarding documentation of employees.
  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve data integrity and efficiency.
    • Automate reports and data collection methods to reduce manual effort and human error.
    • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all HR systems.
  • Strategic Analysis:

    • Analyze HR data to identify key trends and patterns that impact the workforce.
    • Provide analytical support for strategic HR initiatives, including workforce planning, compensation analysis, and talent management.
    • Assist in creating presentations and summaries for leadership based on data findings.
  • System and Tool Management:

    • Manage and optimize the use of HR Information Systems (HRIS) KEKA and other data-related software.
    • Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide support to the HR team as needed.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Proven experience (1 - 3 years) as a MIS Executive, Data Analyst, or similar role, preferably within a Human Resources department.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Countifs, Sumifs, Index Match, Conditional formatting, IfError, OffSet, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas, macros).

  • Experience with HRIS and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, concise information.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for using data to improve people-related decisions and outcomes.
