Midwife (Rotational – Inpatient/Community)-Maternity Services - Maternity

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.There are 2 permanent posts (18.74, 34.65 hours per week) and 1 fixed-term secondment post (29.75) until March 2026.The shift pattern is within 12 hour days and nights. (Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 midwives to join our Midwifery Team in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. You should be a Registered Midwife having current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as an essential requirement.This post is rotational and covers all areas of Maternity services within QEUH.You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and evidence of multi-disciplinary team working with up to date knowledge of Best Start and all Maternity National Initiatives.
