Middle School English Teacher (ICSE Curriculum)

Ruchika High School, a reputed ICSE-affiliated institution, is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Middle School English Teacher to join our faculty. The teacher will be responsible for delivering the English Language and Literature syllabus as per the ICSE standards for classes VI to VIII. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop strong communication skills, an appreciation for literature, and a command of grammar and writing.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training qualification (as per ICSE norms).
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the middle school level, preferably in an ICSE school.
• Strong command over the English language, both spoken and written.
• Familiarity with ICSE textbooks, syllabus structure, and examination patterns.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in English Language and Literature based on the ICSE curriculum.
• Teach grammar, composition, reading comprehension, prose, poetry, and drama effectively.
• Prepare students for internal assessments and ensure readiness for the Class IX–X progression in line with ICSE requirements.
• Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to foster a love for reading and writing.
• Conduct formative and summative assessments, evaluate student performance, and maintain accurate records.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and communicate regularly with parents.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
• Integrate technology and audiovisual tools to enhance the learning experience.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development sessions.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives.
• Uphold school values, academic integrity, and ICSE standards.

• You have loads of hobbies you like to engage in (singing, dancing, hiking, nature walks, gardening, playing the guitar, arts & crafts, etc.)

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
