Middle School Computer Science Facilitator

This is a full-time on-site role for a Middle School Computer Science Facilitator at Nahar International School in Mumbai. As the Technology Facilitator, your primary responsibility will be to research the curriculum standards followed by international boards. You will be tasked with developing and delivering age-appropriate content in an engaging manner to the students. In addition to core teaching duties, you will design activities that promote the integration of technology in the learning process. Collaborating with teachers, you will help plan and execute projects that enhance the use of technology in the classroom. Furthermore, you will offer training and support to ensure efficient technology usage. Your role will also involve evaluating and maintaining both hardware and software within the school premises. To excel in this role, you should possess curriculum development and instructional design skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are crucial for effective interaction with students and colleagues. Proficiency in technology integration and troubleshooting is essential to support the educational environment. Facilitation and training skills will be required to assist teachers and students in utilizing technology effectively. Experience with Google Apps, Apple Mac environment, and SMART Board technology is preferred. Familiarity with student data privacy laws and regulations is necessary for compliance. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education Technology, Education, or a related field. While not mandatory, teaching experience in a K-12 environment would be advantageous for this position.,
