Job Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Front End Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in building scalable, high-performance, and responsive web applications.
• The ideal candidate must be proficient in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end engineering practices.
• This is a Chennai Onsite opportunity requiring candidates to work 5 days a week from the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain high-quality, scalable web interfaces using modern front-end frameworks.
• Convert UI/UX mockups, wireframes, and user stories into responsive, interactive web pages.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility compliance, and front-end performance tuning.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices for front-end architecture.
• Integrate UI components with RESTful APIs / GraphQL and backend services.
• Support Agile processes: sprint planning, grooming, estimations, and delivery.
• Identify and fix UI inconsistencies, performance issues, and usability gaps.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Front-End Development.

Strong proficiency in:

• JavaScript (ES6+)
• TypeScript
• React (Mandatory)
• HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, Grid
• Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand , Context API, or similar).
• Experience integrating with RESTful / GraphQL APIs.
• Understanding of WCAG accessibility, responsive design, and UI performance optimization.
• Experience with Git, version control, and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to work onsite in Chennai, 5 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong production experience with React + TypeScript.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, or RTL.
• Experience working with component libraries/design systems (Material UI, Chakra UI, Ant Design, etc.).
• Knowledge of build tools like Vite , Webpack, Babel.
• Exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP cloud setups.
• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced product environment.
