Microsoft Dynamics Navision Technical Consultant

This is a technical role focused on upgrading existing NAV systems, developing customizations, and providing ongoing support. The consultant will work closely with internal teams and key users throughout the project lifecycle and may be involved in client-facing activities at later stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute

  upgrade projects

  from older NAV versions to newer versions or Business Central.
• Develop and implement

  customizations

  using C/AL and AL based on business requirements.
• Provide

  technical support

  for NAV-related issues and enhancements.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, testers, and project managers to ensure smooth delivery.
• Lead

  key users

  through the project lifecycle, including development completion and sign-off.
• Conduct

  user workshops

  for testing and requirement discussions.
• Escalate project issues to project management when necessary.
• Provide

  sample deliverables

  , configuration support, and testing assistance.
• Share

  best practices

  and contribute to methodology adherence.
• Maintain

  technical documentation

  for customizations and integrations.
• Assist in

  data migration

  , performance optimization, and system testing.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in

  Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC development

  .
• Proficiency in

  C/AL and AL programming languages

  , and NAV administration.
• Strong understanding of

  Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC architecture and business functions

  .
• Experience in

  NAV upgrade projects

  and version migrations.
• Familiarity with

  SQL Server

  ,

  Power BI

  , and

  Visual Studio Code

  .
• Expertise in

  data templates

  for opening balances and master data.
• Experience in

  uploading data

  for opening balances and open transactions.
• Knowledge of

  at least two different industry domains

  .
• Minimum

  two full-cycle implementations

  and

  post go-live support

  experience.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics NAV or Business Central.
• Experience with

  Jet Reports

  ,

  Azure

  , or other reporting/integration tools.
• Exposure to

  Business Central

  is a plus.
