Job Description

We are (~20 users) in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, looking for an experienced specialist to help optimize our file storage, sharing, and collaboration workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement efficient SharePoint Online structures (sites, libraries, permissions) to replace our current on-premises server-based shared folders.
Migrate existing file shares and user folders to OneDrive and SharePoint, ensuring data integrity, minimal duplicates, and proper versioning.
Configure Microsoft Teams for better team collaboration and integration with SharePoint/OneDrive.
Build automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline file sharing, approvals, notifications, and retention policies (e.g., reducing version sprawl and orphaned files).
Implement best practices for governance, security, and user adoption (e.g., sharing links instead of copies, retention labels).
Provide hands-on training and documentation for end-users on new workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, with strong focus on
SharePoint Online
,
OneDrive
,
Teams
, and
Power Automate
.
Experience migrating from on-premises file servers to M365 cloud storage.
Knowledge of versioning, permissions, retention policies, and automation to eliminate duplicates/manual processes.
Excellent communication skills to train non-technical users and document setups.
Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Power Platform, or SharePoint-related) a plus.
