Mgr. Manufacturing Technology

Your role involves coordinating and controlling the development and improvement of production technologies, driving global cooperation among Manufacturing Technology Engineers, accelerating the rollout of global standards, and managing the performance of manufacturing technologies in the location. Additionally, you will be responsible for special machine department budget, new special machine development, and managing relationships with internal/external customers. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and control development of required production technologies in time - Coordinate and control improvement of production technologies in terms of quality, cost, and robustness - Drive the Global cooperation of Manufacturing Technology Engineers in global networks - Accelerate the rollout of global standards in the location - Collect the needs for new manufacturing technologies and drive to use standard equipment and technologies - Accountable for the performance of manufacturing technologies used in the location - Responsible for special machine department budget, cost control, and planning - Responsible for new special machine development, demand forecast, and capacity calculation - Responsible for managing and coordinating with internal/external customers - Conduct make or buy analysis related to new investment of special machines and develop potential suppliers for SMB - Definition of local specification of special machines and representing the SMB in the local investment approval process Required Qualifications: - Graduate Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Automation) with 10-15 years of experience - Technical background and extended knowledge and experience in special machine building - 5 years of leadership role experience - Extended network within the SMB organization and worldwide Operations organization Schaeffler India Ltd., under the leadership of Amit Raina, looks forward to your application.
