Mgr-Catering Sales

The Catering Sales Manager at Coorg Marriott Resort & Spa is responsible for contracting and closing local catering and social business, ensuring proper turnover for quality service delivery. You will play a key role in achieving catering revenue goals by actively up-selling each business opportunity to maximize revenue. By implementing the brand's service strategy and initiatives, you will drive customer loyalty through service excellence in every customer experience. As a successful candidate, you should have a high school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or a related field. Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major from an accredited university will be considered. Your core responsibilities will include managing sales activities such as identifying, qualifying, and soliciting new catering business, understanding market trends, and maximizing revenue through creative selling techniques. You will collaborate with off-property sales channels and other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and drive customer loyalty. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing menus, executing operational aspects of business booked, and resolving guest issues effectively. Providing exceptional customer service is paramount in this role, as you will interact with various stakeholders to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty. By understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions, you will uphold the company's Customer Service Standards and Brand Standards. Developing close working relationships with operations to execute strategies at the hotel level will be crucial for success. In addition to your core responsibilities, you may be assigned other duties as needed to meet business requirements.
