MERN Stack Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of frontend and backend developers through the full software development lifecycle.
• Architect, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using MERN stack and modern frameworks like

  Next.js

  and

  AngularJS

  .
• Work with

  MySQL

  ,

  PostgreSQL

  , and

  MongoDB

  to design efficient and scalable data models.
• Design and implement backend services using

  Node.js

  and

  Express.js

  , incorporating

  WebSocket's

  for real-time features when needed.
• Guide the team in adopting best practices for CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
• Promote and implement

  microservices architecture

  to improve scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers, and QA Engineers.
• Review code, provide technical mentorship, and enforce clean, maintainable code practices.
• Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience in full-stack JavaScript environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and edge computing.
• Knowledge of TypeScript and Redux.
• Background in mentoring, coaching, and evaluating team members.
