Merchandiser/ Production Coordinator

As a professional in this role, your responsibilities will involve Supplier Management, where you will be expected to maintain regular communication with suppliers to monitor progress and address any issues promptly. Additionally, you will be responsible for Production Coordination, which includes coordinating production schedules and timelines to meet delivery deadlines. Collaboration with internal teams, such as design, sourcing, and logistics, will also be crucial to ensure seamless production processes. Quality Assurance is a vital aspect of this role, and you will need to plan for regular quality inspections at various stages of production to ensure compliance with standards and specifications. Effective communication and resolution of any quality issues with suppliers, design, and sourcing teams will be essential to maintain high standards. Cost Management is another key responsibility, where you will monitor production costs and budgets to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness. Identifying opportunities for cost optimization through material sourcing alternatives or production process improvements will be part of your duties. Risk Management will also be a significant aspect of your role, where you will need to identify potential risks and challenges in the production process and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively addressing issues like supply chain disruptions and quality defects to minimize negative impacts on production will be crucial. In terms of Documentation and Reporting, you will be required to maintain accurate records of production activities, time and action calendars with updated production schedules, and quality reports. Regular reporting on production performance, including key metrics such as production delivery against PO target dates, quality metrics for PO inspections, and PO completion reports will be part of your responsibilities. Providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement will also be expected. In this role, skills such as risk management, supplier management, garment manufacturing, documentation and reporting, apparel, production processes, quality assurance, data analysis, production schedules, sourcing, merchandising, and cost management will be essential for success.,
