Merchandiser

As a Merchandiser at a Garments Manufacturing company located in Dhulagarah, Howrah, your primary responsibility will be to procure products according to the buying plan. You will be required to identify and select new vendors, develop products based on market samples and trends, and ensure timely delivery by coordinating with vendors. Supply chain management will be crucial to avoid stock gaps. Managing a team effectively to streamline product procurement process will be part of your role. Regular data analysis will be necessary to monitor stock movement and maintain appropriate inventory levels company-wide. Additionally, you will need to have expertise in costing, sourcing, and purchasing. To excel in this role, you must be proficient in Advanced Excel, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and be adept at reviewing reports. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Technology and 1 to 5 years of experience in Merchandising. Previous experience in merchandising for at least 3 years is preferred. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule. Weekend availability may be required. The company offers benefits such as Provident Fund and a yearly bonus.
