You are invited to attend a Walk-In drive scheduled for 7th June 2025 (Saturday) between 10 am to 7 pm at HO, 5A/1B, LORD SINHA ROAD, Kolkata 700071. The reporting time is from 10 am to 11:30 am. The venue is located Opposite Sri Sikshayatan school / The ICON Building, Near Emami Market. As a Merchandiser joining our textile team, you will be responsible for coordinating product development, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality textile products. Your role will involve working closely with design, production, and sales teams, requiring excellent communication skills, in-depth knowledge of textile and apparel processes. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with designers to develop new products and finalize specifications for fabrics, colors, and patterns. - Source suppliers for fabrics and trims, negotiate prices, and maintain strong vendor relationships. - Oversee production schedules, troubleshoot issues, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality. - Calculate product costs, work within budgets, and ensure competitive pricing. - Implement quality standards, monitor production processes, and ensure products meet quality requirements. - Update management on production progress, costs, and coordinate between internal teams for smooth workflow. - Maintain half-yearly sales reports to analyze growth trends. - Stay updated on techniques, technologies, and market trends. - Perform work with precision and rigor. Key Skills Required: - Strong negotiation skills and decent communication abilities. - Extensive knowledge of textile materials, fabrics, and garment construction. - Proficiency in costing, sourcing, and vendor management. - Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure with accuracy. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
