Merchandiser Intern

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing new clients and following up on inquiries for fabric/garment orders.
• Coordinate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure timely order execution.
• Prepare cost sheets, samples, and strike-offs; track order status using SAP and Excel tools.
• Participate in 5S housekeeping initiatives and process improvements in merchandising workflows.
• Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to aid in quote preparation.
• Attend client meetings/calls and maintain communication records.

Preferred candidate profile

• Pursuing or recent graduate in Textile Management, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of textile fibers, fabrics, and garment manufacturing processes.
• Quick learner with attention to detail, teamwork orientation, and ability to handle deadlines.
