Job Description

As a Merchandising Manager at our company, you will play a critical role in developing and executing comprehensive merchandising strategies aligned with company goals and market trends. Your responsibilities will include: - Strategic Planning: - Develop and execute merchandising strategies aligned with company goals and market trends. - Conduct market research to identify consumer preferences and emerging trends. - Create seasonal buying plans including product assortment, pricing, and inventory levels. - Product Selection and Sourcing: - Collaborate with design teams or vendors to develop new product lines. - Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to optimize profit margins. - Manage the product lifecycle from conception to market launch. - Inventory Management: - Monitor inventory levels and manage stock rotation to minimize overstock and understock issues. - Analyze sales data to forecast demand and adjust inventory accordingly. - Implement strategies to optimize stock allocation across different sales channels. - Pricing Strategy: - Determine pricing strategies based on market competition, cost analysis, and profit targets. - Manage promotional pricing and clearance sales. - Visual Merchandising: - Oversee the visual presentation of products in stores and online to enhance customer experience. - Develop and implement visual merchandising guidelines. - Team Leadership: - Lead and mentor a team of merchandisers, assigning responsibilities and providing performance feedback. - Foster a collaborative environment to achieve team goals. Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in sales data analysis and reporting. - Deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and retail landscape. - Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills. - Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in merchandising software and systems. - Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, or a related field. - Extensive experience in retail merchandising, preferably in a leadership role. This is a full-time position with benefits including Provident Fund. The job is located in Hyderabad, Telangana, and requires reliable commuting or relocation before starting work. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of total work experience.,
