Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Conduct inspections of MEP installations (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Electrical) to ensure compliance with design specs and quality standards.
Review and approve work methodologies, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and checklists submitted by contractors.
Monitor material deliveries, storage, and handling; approve Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).
Supervise testing and commissioning of MEP systems before handover.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with local/international codes (e.g., IS Codes, NBC, IEC).
Conduct factory inspections and report findings to project management.
Lead toolbox talks and technical training sessions for site staff.
Track and close non-conformance reports (NCRs) and snags.
Maintain calibration records for testing equipment.

Preferred candidate profile

"MEP QC Engineer with 5 years of experience. Candidates with a B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering will be preferred."
